Implementation:

Surface Preparation:

Application surfaces should be dry or slightly damp. Perform adherence test before application on damp surfaces. Do not apply on wet or frozen surfaces. Surfaces must be clean, sound, free of bearing and free particles. Oil, grease, dirt, paint, cement grout, rust, mold oil, salt vomit and other layers that may reduce adherence must be completely removed before application. The surface should be roughened with sandblasting and sanding operations in areas deemed necessary.

Thermoplastic resin based pool and floor paint Necessary precautions should be taken on surfaces where water or salt vomiting is observed from the negative side. Application surfaces should be free of pits, fractures, segregation, mold defects, cracks, should be smooth and should not be dusty.

Such defects should be corrected with repair mortar consisting of Polymex Latex mixture before application. The product is ready for use but should be mixed until it reaches a homogeneous consistency before application. If necessary, thinning can be done with Polymex thinner. Impregnation of Dusty Surfaces: Mineral-based floors with dusty or crumbling surfaces should be prepared by applying an impregnating primer before application. Impregnation should be done with polymex 887. Application should be done in 1 or 2 coats depending on the condition of the surface and full drying should be allowed between coats. Consumption is 200 - 300 grams/m2 per coat. Wait for the impregnating primer layer to dry completely before continuing the application. Thermoplastic resin based pool and floor paint

Application of Polymex-2025-Thermoplastic:

Polymex-2025 is applied in one or two coats depending on the desired layer thickness. Application is done by brush, roller or suitable airless gun.

Allow drying between coats (at least 3-24 hours or until the solvent odor disappears).

The fresh coating should be protected against rain and water until it dries.

Cleaning of Instruments:

Application surfaces should be protected from rain, water and frost until dry. - The application should be made between +50 C and +300 C, necessary precautions should be taken for applications in extremely hot and windy environments. - Do not apply on wet and frozen surfaces. - In case of application in closed volumes, provide adequate ventilation and work intermittently. Consumption: 0.250 - 0.300 grams/m2 as coating (per coat)

Contains solvent, do not approach with open flame. Provide adequate ventilation. Do not consume solid or liquid substances and do not smoke during application. Wear protective gloves, goggles and clothing. Avoid eye and skin contact. In case of skin contact, wash with plenty of water and soap. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately. Keep out of the reach of children.
