Surface Preparation

The surface must be dry and clean. The surface must be free of oil, wax, grease, water repellents, dust and unattached free parts. The moisture content of the materials to be bonded should be maximum %8. POLYMEX-3040's A and B components must not come into contact with air in any way.

Mixing:

Since there is a perfect compatibility between the A and B Components of POLYMEX-Heat Resistant Casting Resin, the mixture (application) can be done manually or with low pressure PU (Polyurethane) machines. Since the usage time of the mixture is short in manual applications, mixtures should be prepared as needed. A sign that the mixture is well mixed is that the color is homogeneous. The best results are obtained with low pressure PU machines at the mixture ratios we recommend. Heat Resistant Polyurethane Casting Resin.

Since Component A may collapse over time, the tank agitator must be operational in applications with PU machines. Please contact our technical service for extending or shortening the mixture usage time. Depending on the production speed, especially in adhesive applications where tape production is made using low-pressure PU machines. Necessary modifications can be made in Heat Resistant Polyurethane Casting Resin.

Note: Freezing time will be given from 2 minutes to 1 hour.

Application Tools

POLYMEX -3045 Since the pan life (mixture usage time) and curing time of Double Component Polyurethane Resin is very short, it is recommended to apply with low pressure or static mixer polyurethane machines. Heat Resistant Polyurethane Casting Resin.

Excess adhesive and tool cleaning can be done with a suitable solvent while the adhesive is still wet. Hardened adhesive can only be removed mechanically. Heat Resistant Casting Resin.

Shelf Life

Component A has a shelf life of 1 year in its original unopened packaging at a storage temperature of 10-25 ºC. Heat Resistant Polyurethane Casting Resin

The shelf life of Component B (hardener) is 1 year at 15-25 ºC storage temperature in original unopened packages. Protect Polymex-3045-Double Component Polyurethane Resin A and B Component from direct sunlight and moisture.

Packaging
